Driving a Hotel Video Head End

Post by mjstrand »

As times evolve and technology changes, sometimes the in-room channel in hotels also need to change. StrandVision's digital signage solution makes it easy to update content from your office or any other location since it is Internet based. We are discovering that a lot of the old systems that may currently drive in-room content are very old, and many of the companies are no longer around. Consider updating your in-room signage system to StrandVision before your current system dies and it becomes an urgent issue.

We have learned that the easiest way to get the video from a new computer into the in-room distribution system is the GrandTec PC-to-Video EZ (http://www.grandtec.com/products/video/untimateEZ.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). It offers an RCA and S Video output and has enough amplification to provide a good signal to the distribution system.
Mike is president of StrandVision Digital Signage and also does business marketing consulting through MikeStrand.com.
