Production Servers

I was recently asked about the layout of our production servers. Our production servers are a series quad core or more linux servers that serve as the web site, the customer input area, the database storage, the dynamic content gathering and the player communication source. These servers are located in Menomonie as well as 3 different locations around the country (all United States locations at this time). We also use Amazon for some aspects which automatically scale servers up and down based on demand. All of these except for Menomonie use high capacity redundant Internet sources and all servers fall back and forth to each other in case of an outage. All of this server juggling is handled transparently behind the scenes with no customer intervention needed.
